Canon has just announced their latest redesigned point and shoot camera: the Canon PowerShot N. Already being advertised as a component piece to android phones, the camera is aimed at the burgeoning online photographer market, offering Wi-Fi compatibility as well as iOS and Android app support. The camera’s unconventional square design is for the purpose of using the camera in any orientation, a system that is dually convenient with the 2.8 inch tilt LCD panel. The camera has a zoom and shutter ring on the top and bottom of the lens, allowing you easy manipulation while holding the camera in various positions. Not to be outdone by similarly sized cameras in the market, the N offers a 12 megapixel HS CMOS sensor, DIGIC 5 processor, 1080p video at 24 fps, Hybrid Autofocus, Intelligent IS, Face ID, and a 28mm wide angle 8x optical zoom lens.
